Portrait commission are open! Each portrait, hand-painted with acrylic paint on a cradled wood panel, is executed with archival quality materials and varnished with a UV protective coating to preserve your special memory for many years to come. Here are some samples of my work:

Portrait Pricing Notes
Price will vary for each portrait depending on factors including painting size, the number of subjects, the level of background detail and type of color palette used. Half of the portrait is paid up front and the other half is paid upon completion. To gain a better understanding of what this pricing might look like, here are some example pricing scenarios.​​

Size
Bigger portraits involve additional details, time and materials, making smaller portraits more affordable.

Subjects
The number of subjects (pets and people) and their position within the painting also impacts price.
Background
Simple and standard backgrounds are what I suggest for my portraits. The simple option is a solid color or basic abstract background. The standard background is an impressionistic interpretation of the reference photo.

Fewer background details emphasizes depth and perspective while keeping subjects the main focus of the painting. However, if you prefer to keep certain background details in focus, this can be requested.
Color Palette
Black and white and full color are the two main color palette options. Other options can be discussed during consultation, and pricing will depend on the complexity of the palette.
